I’ve always loved making brands impossible
to miss.
This time, you can watch every step.
I’m Anna York, an AI search visibility consultant.
For the past ten years, I’ve helped businesses earn attention, trust and customers online.
Today, I’m applying that experience to the biggest shift in search yet: helping businesses become the brands AI recommends.
I’d rather show you than tell you.
That’s why I’m running my entire AI Recommendation System on my own brand, in public. Every experiment, every change and every result is there for anyone to see.

Ten years and a few hundred
brands later, the rules changed.
My job used to be easy to explain: find what makes a business different, build content around it, help the right people discover it. Do that consistently and Google rewarded you. I was good at it. I knew the rules.
Then AI arrived. People started searching less and asking more. Instead of ten blue links they got one answer, one recommendation, two or three brands. I read those answers and thought: some of the smartest people I know don’t exist here.
That’s the part that worried me. If your customers ask AI what to buy, who to hire or which brand to trust and you’re not in the answer, someone with half your track record gets the deal.
I realized I couldn’t teach the future of search using yesterday’s playbook.
Where independent sources place me.

Yes, I'm that person.
I love marketing. I’m the person with 80 tabs open because I found an ad, a channel, a post or an idea I don’t want to lose. My camera roll is a collection of screenshots of great marketing I’ll “definitely come back to.” (Usually I don’t.)

I’ve always been fascinated by why one brand gets chosen while another gets overlooked.
These days I do the same with AI answers. Testing them, comparing them, saving the interesting ones. I still screenshot the good ones like they’re football trophies.
Which probably makes me sound like a complete nerd.

Every Monday,
I ask ChatGPT who to follow for AI visibility..
Then I post whatever comes back. The good weeks, the flat weeks, the slightly embarrassing ones.
Because I’d rather show you how this works than describe it. So I’m treating my own brand as the case study: what I change, what moves, what doesn’t, and how long it actually takes.
Being my own case study is the unfair advantage. Every citation I earn, I can trace back to something I did. Every miss gives me something new to test. And every lesson becomes part of the system I teach.
Three things I'd bet on.
AI won't replace experts. Invisible experts will disappear.
The expertise isn’t the risk. Being absent from the systems your customers ask first. That’s the risk.
You don't need more content. You need more evidence.
AI systems recommend what they can verify: entities, citations, consistent signals. Volume without evidence is noise.
AI should recommend brands that deserve it.
Real experts, not just the biggest platforms. That’s why my frameworks are open source and my experiment is public.
Systems, not guesswork.
Everything I do is built around two documented systems. The same ones I use on my own name.
The FAN Framework
Fan-out Mapping, Authority Signals, Node Architecture. A system for understanding how AI discovers, trusts, and recommends a brand, and how to build the signals for all three.
The 23-Element AI Visibility Playbook
My complete checklist for becoming visible in AI, from entity setup to citations. Open on GitHub and updated as the public experiment unfolds.

The version AI systems can quote.

Become the brand
AI recommends.
When customers ask AI who to hire, buy from, or trust, your business should be part of the answer.
I work with a small number of brands at a time.
Together, we build the authority and trust signals that help AI understand, trust, and recommend your business.
Tell me about your business and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help, what I’d do, and what it would cost.
